INTC: a dying company or a value investing opportunity?

I have been following the news regarding INTC for a while and I think it constitutes an interesting case study. Unlike many "newer" tech companies its not promising revolutionaries technologies or a sustained double digits growth for the next decade. On the other hand it has really strong fundamentals, and its revenues, earnings, operating cashflow and market share are still impressive (despite a recent contraction), especially considering the situation the market is in right now. Half of my brain is telling me this is an opportunity for value-investing while the other half says that Intel is a dying company that is going to be crashed by competitors. I would love to hear your opinion DISCLAIMER 1) I don't have a position on the company, although I probably put some money in it buying index funds 2) I am not planning on buying INTC in the near future
