An investor we haven’t covered due to him keeping a low profile is Wallace Weitz, CFA of the Weitz Funds. He is often referred to as the “other” Oracle of Omaha as he operated out of the same town as Warren Buffett. Like Warren Buffett, Weitz practices a bottoms up approach and focuses on finding strong, well managed companies that he could purchase at a reasonable price.
