Does Icahn Want To Be King Of Lear?
Carl Icahn has reached an agreement with Lear (LEA) that will allow him to buy another $200 million in common stock. As a result, Icahn will name a representative to the company's board of directors. The investment will more than triple Icahn's stake in the auto parts maker to from 5% to 16%. Icahn will acquire 8.7 million shares at $23.00 a share in a private transaction.
