Liberty Media, Elliott Said to Drop From MGM Bidding

John Malone's Liberty Media (LCAPA) drops out of bidding for MGM film studio. MGM, which has defaulted on loans and is in danger of filing for Chapter 11, has a library of more than 4,000 films. Other bidder include Lions Gate (LGF) and Time Warner (TWX).
