Former SEC Chairman Richard Breeden works for a hedge fund as an activist now. Footnoted.org reports that Breeden's hit the ground running by taking on Campbell Soup CEO Douglas Conant's role as chairman of Applebee’s International’s compensation committee. Apparently Conant has been allowing the former Applebee's CEO, Lloyd Hill, to continue corporate jet flights to his beach home even though he hasn't been CEO since September 2006. Thankfully, someone is watching out for shareholder interests.
