Buffet is a smart man. A really smart man. I'm sure in the future his name will be in the same book with Nostradamus, Davinci, Napoleon...etc...I'm just curious if Warren owns some proprieties of the National Marine Engineers Beneficial Association. Oh well, we'll probably hear that he owns half of the moon or something.

I don't think Altucher nows that Louis Simpson also works at brk. Many of Buffetts investments should be really credit or debited to Simpson. That is why I take alot of this talk of what is or isn't Buffett buying with a grain of salt.

Pretty soon, the 2.0 suffix will be dropped. Any application that wants to survive needs to have complete involvement from users. Hence the reason why traditional media outlets are on the way out.

I was fortunate enough to buy eBay back about 2 months ago, when it was trading in the $24-25 range. As of today, it is trading at $33, and I currently wouldn't add anymore to my position.

This was a good assessment of eBay's competitive position. I totally agree with the negative assessment of eBay's purchase of Skype. They overpaid for a company that will not add to their moat.
