This is necessary but just a fast food solution

This bailout is necessary to save our economy. But just like the Chinese banking committee chairman said this is a fast food solution. We got to find some long term policy change to make sure this won't happen again

$700 Billion Bailout

When trying to make an informed decision about the merits of the bailout plan, there is no shortage of information to turn to. Just look at the following sources I found in only a few minutes:

U.S. News & World Report - Bailout Plan Meets Resistance
Reuters - Obama: Wall St. bailout may delay spending programs
Washington Post - Pimco's Gross says bailout to benefit Main Street

But what does everyone here think about Paulson's solution? Do you side with Wall Street or Main Street (or do you hate how the media is trying to simplify it with those "us vs. them" terms)? What solutions would you propose?
