A look at Alice Schroeder's work on Buffett's "official" biography. It looks like we will have to wait another year to read, "The Snowball: How Warren Buffett Collected Friends, Wisdom and Wealth".

Start the Countdown: This Will Be a Must Read!
I have no clue what this book will actually read like. It's clearly going to be unlike anything written about Buffett so far. Who knows if I'll like the direction she takes the book – regardless, this will be a definite must read for everyone who visits this site, for these reasons alone:
"Friends and family members told stories they had been saving for Warren's book. Berkshire opened its files, including Buffett's decades of correspondence. For a year and a half, Schroeder spent two weeks each month in Omaha, mostly staying at the Doubletree Hotel, often dining with Buffett at his favorite restaurants."
"She estimated the book will have about 2,000 footnotes, a way to include details while moving the story ahead."
The book may be great or it may not. But, as an information dump alone it will be worth buying.
Start counting the days.
I agree completely. On
I agree completely.
On another note - has Buffett every mentioned anything about his "memoirs"?
